I thought he was quite good, a bit of a nasty companion. Better than nothing's like Nyssa anyway.

Turlough is awesome and perfect.
Bring him back.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ January 3 2010, 5:23 PM GMTIf we're going retro, let's have a companion in a fur bikini (and not Barrowman this time!)
A shot of a companion's knickers is also long overdue in the new series.

Quote: Griff @ January 3 2010, 5:33 PM GMTTurlough was like having Wee Jimmy Krankie in the TARDIS.
He was enormous! He was tall with a massive chin and ginger and shouting there was nothing wee about him.

Before sooty gets them in -
'Ex-sperminate!'
'Ejaculate!'
'Fornicate!'
and finally -
'Are you sure Russell signed off on this storyline?'
I was just going to say it's an appalling shot. The Daleks are woshippers of Skaro a deeply conservative and ancient faith. These kind of pictures do nothing for their dignity.

As long as it's not Catherine Tate's big fat ginger gusset, then I might just violently vomit through both nostrils onto my KFC variety meal.
Probably improve the flavour.
I don't think you worded that sentence quite right. Hee.
Quote: Griff @ January 3 2010, 6:18 PM GMTI wonder if Catherine Tate or anyone who knows her will be judging the Sitcom Mission this year?
I hope not, my sitcom entry 'Catherine Tate's Facial Wart Ate My Hamster' may not go down to well.
Did anyone see the cartoon-animated version of Doctor Who on Christmas eve.
I only saw the bit I recorded but I thought their representation of David Tennant was spot-on except for the weird way all the characters did their running.
I did enjoy the second episode, but I wasn't watching it with a critical eye.
It was good to see the TimeLords & anything would be better than the last finale with the Master.
The knock 4 times bit with the Cribbmeister was quite clever as well.
I am looking forward to the new series though. the truly great episodes of New Who have been few & far between, so I'll be hoping for another one or two to add to the list..
Good news for fans of music on Doctor Who - Murray Gold has announced that he's staying.
I've finally got round to watching part 2 and the best thing I can say is it wasn't as bad as part 1.
