Perhaps there should be a 'Kids Only' section on the site; an area where certain topics of conversation are strictly forbidden?
Who do you fancy? Page 518
As long as nobody is using a website in an attempt to entice a minor to enter into unlawful real-life activity, the law is very tolerant of internet chat and message boards.
For any writer to want to introduce into a writers' forum a level of censorship more stringent than that decreed by law is a worrying turn of events.
This discussion is getting silly now. I shall bow out.

Same here.
You are a daft lot!

Why?
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ December 24 2009, 2:01 PM GMTIsn't saying they 'should' be with an adult a rule then?
No; again, it's just advice. Perhaps what we would prefer, yes, but it's not a rule. And it's a section of the site T&Cs that probably needs re-writing too.
Quote: Kevin Murphy @ December 24 2009, 2:05 PM GMTThere's no point arguing with Aaron over site rules.
Because he wrote most of them.

This is neither a forum, nor a writers' forum. This is a message board about comedy. See this following links for writers' forums:

Then let them.

Why not why?
I'd be unlikely to seek out a 13-year-old stranger for chat (online or off) but I'm very sure of one thing - your average 13-year-old talks a lot more sense than your average 18-year-old.

Sorry (again)

Merry Christmas!

So you expect to talk a lot less sense in five years time?
