Today I will be mostly fancying Marc P.

:)

What, again?

*sigh* I suppose I had better be fancying Elliot today seeing as he'll be here soon.

My heart will always belong to Simon Amstell :D

I actually have all the male people in my life planned out, like who's going to be what :D

What, again?

I might fancy John Lucas today also, depending on compliments thrown my way.

Yeah, I knew that, being one of their Number one fans. I was just making a point.

Sorry, I don't understand. What's the relevance of listing bands with names you can explain, in relation to the question of why anyone would call a band You Me At Six?

Come come Nogget.

Be nice it's Christmas!

I think she's trying to say that bands can be called whatever they want, and doesn't need an explanation, but didn't choose the best examples to explain that. :)

Because I was trying to make a point that people call their bands odd names.

Okay I have done my research, and this is what I came up with :
In an interview, someone asked Dan from you me at six, why they are called you me at six.

this was his answer :
We always get asked this, its such a bad story, basically Matt and Josh were talking to each other about when they were going to meet up and one was like "Hey you me at six". We had our first gig where we played to literally about three people, who were probably our parents, but we needed a name for the flyer, so we just used that and decided to change it later, I guess it just stuck.

Don't kids get taught to use verbs thesedays? Honestly! Rolling eyes

EDIT: Oh, btw... *sniffs Ellie's new avatar*

My "Language in Time" seminar leader was horrified that they'd stopped teaching grammar. It was a sad day when nobody knew the difference between transitive and instransitive verbs.
