I know the saddest story ever told.

Get the tissues out...(not like that)

It's about to start.

It was this time last year, it was frosty and bitterly cold. When I smoke I always stand outside the front door, come wind, rain or shine. I always see an old man who walks his dog everynight. He is very old and so was his dog, the little dog used to trundle along behind him, limping, like the old man. He would have his big coat on, and the dog would have it's little coat on too. The dog would always be a good few paces behind his owner, as if struggling, so the old boy would look around everynow and then, checking to see if his precious little dog was alright. He would give off the odd muffled whistle and look behind to see how the dog was doing.

One night, I was standing outside having a smoke, it was a bitterly cold evening, frost and ice evrywhere. I saw the old man. He was walking alot slower than usual with his hands behind his back, and as normal he was looking behind to check on his little dog. He walked past me, but on the other side of the street, still looking behind him, everynow and then, he let out a whistle. I stood and waited, as I was finishing my fag, hoping to see the little dog stumble along as the old boy moved on. The dog never followed...

The old boy was so used to walking his beloved companion all those years, he didn't know what else to do. He went for his usual walk. But his dog was not by his side anymore.

I told this to Miss Scottidog.

It turns out the old boys dog didn't die, they are both still alive, the guy I saw was just some f**king mental bloke who wanders the streets everynight looking for his dead wife.

Still, pretty sad through, Eh.

Surely, it's 'The Never Ending Story'.

Certainly in the perjorative sense.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day :)

Terminator 2 is good, but they could of done with getting rid of the whining kid. Sarah Conner and Arnie ftw.
