I think the second episode thing was more of a way of getting you to show it has legs (or making you *make* it have legs!)

Dan

Alright enough already with Big Top.

Hi guys

The second episode thing is there for a couple of reasons.

If you get picked for the 32 (maximum), we want to see a completely formed second episode, with a beginning, middle and end. That episode, as well as the first episode you sent us, will be given to a director. The director will then liaise with the writer to establish the BEST MATERIAL to present to Simon and myself, and we will then choose which 16 of the 32 (maximum) we will showcase.

This will do two things:

a) prove that you're no one-trick pony and can write consistently good material
b) weed out the ones who aren't serious

Hope that helps

Cheers, Declan

What is your time frame on all this though Declan, I think that was the question he was asking? Could be wrong of course, it has been known.

Oh, ok. Two weeks.

It's a tough world out there.

It's a cold world right now.

Thanks, that makes more sense.

Just need to get the first bloody script finalised now! :)

Yeah, and make it sodding brilliant too.

I like the "second episode" idea.
After all, as industry judges will be attending, we all need to make sure we deliver the best packages possible.

Oh *that's* how you operate, is it?

Yes, Kevin, I can get you some brochures if you like.

Mock the weak.

I would put a question up, like, "What IS sitcom?" but I won't.
