You big girl sell-out. Unimpressed

I'm more than ready to sell out! :D Luckilly I'm working on something right now that my heart isn't in but I could see actually being on TV! Whoo! Show me the money!! :) :)

Matthew is starting to sadly realise that in order to ever have a sitcom get all the way to screen, he's going to have to tone down and ignore his natural style and personal preferences, and instead concentrate on writing something that 'fits' easilly. He may also just be wallowing in misery like a big girl though.

Or maybe mainstream tastes and commissioning agents will change to meet you at your level?

What? What? It could happen! :|

Writing a letter to Points Of View, Matthew? Good luck with that. (Praising Big Top no doubt.)

:D Console

You could always film a 5 year old falling over and send it to You've Been Framed? But don't compromise, have the 5 year old deliver some cutting-edge satire before he falls over. Pitch it as "Outnumbered meets Lee Evans".

It's kind of annoying though, I don't know if you've found this yourself Tim, when things fall apart not just because they think your script is poo, but because they just don't think it fits and no one will want to commission it. If they just think the scripts lousy then that's fair enough.

I thought they were just blasphemous rumours?

I'm going to a rumoured gig... at the O2! ;)

I only wank off writers who've actually had a commissioned show broadcast, Graham Linehan knows what I'm talking about. Or Gray, which is my pet name for him.

(That's bollocks actually. Just mention to Stott that you've got a sketch on Little Miss Jocelyn and his little wrist starts pumping in no time.)

Sketch-A Wrist job

Pilot-Mouth fun

Series-The full nine yards. Yes, it's tricky to find trousers that fit. (That was almost a joke. Almost.)

Laughing out loud

Chip's off in a minute. He must traverse a muddy field in total darkness. He'll be all right, though. He always is.
