Why do you have to watch anything with her? I hate watching stuff with people. Hearing them laugh - it grates. You should have Girl Time, when you set aside ten minutes to talk to her, or have intercourse, and then get rid of her so you can have Solitary Comedy Watching Time, where you just watch stuff on your own.

Is this deep and meaningful? Cos I prefer fluffy bunnies and conversations over why I have chocolate on my nose after drinking a Cappuccino.

Do you have other stuff in common I mean?

We get on fine. We both love music especially live performances and travel and stuff but for taste in comedy I think she prefers American. Unacceptable in Roscoff's eyes as it pales when put next to British classics. Still at least she does like some comedy. It's just a bit harmless and soft.

Well as long as she has a sense of humour there's hope yet. She's probably got a really dark, sick sense of humour she's too scared to reveal!

And I get slagged off for saying the same thing!
Try her with Not Going Out.
(I don't mean don't take her out)

That's because you lack my natural charm and charisma
To say one gender is naturally funnier than the other is ridiculous.
My feeling are more or less summed up here (to save loads of typing). Maybe it's just that people have this idea in their heads, a relic from the time when stand up, and comedy in general, were hugely male dominated, and so they kind of decide a woman isn't going to be funny before she's spoken a word?

I do get a bit irritable don't I?
Yes.

Like a bowel syndrome.

To be fair zooo I'd have been a little annoyed too. What a stupid thing to say, as if there's a funny gene or something.
Aw, I am a fan of ian.
