Looking forward to seeing if Rick Baker can top it in the new Wolf Man film . . .
Saw Zombieland the other day. Not bad. Bill Murray was in it, that's enough for me.
But don't you think they totally wasted his cameo? The one funny gag was "Garfield maybe." . . .
That was a good gag! Yes, they bumped him off way to quick.
!!! SPOLIER ALERT !!!
And I thought they really botched the death as well - I'd have blown his head clean off (like Steve Pemberton in the League of Gentlemen film) - having a chat after a shotgun blast to the chest was just weird . . .
*spoiler warning*
I hated that bit where we found out the puppy was actually his son, pretty unnecessary, I thought. And yeah, they could've been a lot more creative with Bill's death.
!!! SPOILER ALERT !!!
Well yes being that particular brand of American comedy, it wasn't enough to have the main character be a crazy badass. He had to have a sappy reason for being, and all the characters had to LEARN something about themselves by the end. Bleh . . .
Death At A Funeral - UK Version. I enjoyed this a lot.
Death At A Funeral - US Version. Oh dear.
Interestingly, Peter Dinklage plays the same roll in both. They're obviously short on dwarves.
Saw Paranormal Activity the other day.
I thought it was creepy but my boyfriend didn't think much of it.
I walked out feeling suitably freaked out, but it wasn't the best.
I think if you're going to want to be really freaked out, watch it in your house alone.
I'm not sure whether to go and see Avatar when it comes out; I'm a big fan of some of his other films, but am I the only one who thinks this looks a bit dull? It doesn't look T2 or Aliens good anyway. And those blue things with the big eyes, guhh. I'll probably end up thinking it's brilliant when I end up seeing it.

It does look slightly shit. More Abyss than T2. And what are they? A planet of smurfs?

And the whole 'it'll change the face of cinema' guff. Please. I don't think so. Maybe it'll do something for big flashy special effects movies, but there's hopefully more to cinema than just that. I don't think the technology is going to add much to Shane Meadows output. Plus the blue things look like exactly what they are, computer generated.

I am avoiding it until someone I know has good taste goes to see it and says it's good.
