Fallen Idols

I have been a fan of Beyonce for years, but have noticed recently how overly-sexual her dance routines and skimpy costumes have become.

She's is one of the biggest recording stars around, but it would seem even Beyonce needs to expose acres of flesh, and she's married to Jay-Z! A couple of years ago I'd have held her up as a positive role model, but now I'm not so sure.

Have you ever felt let down by a celebrity?

Not very PC, but I was very disappointed when I found out Derren Brown was gay. I enjoyed the illusion that he used his tricks to pick up women.

Gary Glitter agreeing to be hanged by channel 4 was a huge disapointment.

He does, he just uses black magic to convince them their gay men.

Most of my gay friends use Stella :D

Glitter was a big disappointment, a hugely popular figure, I loved watching him on TOTP when I was 10 years old. It's gross to think he'd rather have been watching me.

You flatter yourself. You might have not been his type. ;)

That really is disgusting.

Yeah, even a 10 years old I was taller than Glitter without his platforms, I'd have towered over him.

What? That I like Beyonce?

Chris Langham.
Loved his shows, and now they'll probably never be repeated.
'People like us' is a great show, & I wish they were repeating that rather than some of the other repeats that they repeat.

I'm going to have to say Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. Once they gave us Not The Nine O'Clock News, Blackadder, The Young Ones, now it's The Vicar Of Dibley, Love Actually, We Will Rock You and Get A Grip.

It's a Truesim.
They had their time, but they're not as good as they used to be.

The overt sexiness and skimpy costumes!

Chappers,

don't get me wrong, she looks amazing in the videos.

I just feel let-down that even Beyonce has to wear 'next to nothing' and she's at the top of the charts. She's in a position to change things, but still feels the need to dress like a floozy!
Lady Gaga on the other hand, I like, she shows even more flesh but seems more in control of her image.

Cheetah Woods.

Who would have thought it. He looks so...boring.

OMG! Yeah! How shocking was that? He seemed like such a nice man, but how many multi-mllionaire golf players shag $8 an hour waitress?

At least he's injected a much-needed bit of ommmph into the world of golf.

Boris Becker always did his bit ;)

2point4 Children.

I idolise the whole series, but it's fallen into disgrace at the BBC. The way it gets treated you would think it was racist or it had a paedophile in it or something.

I still love you 2point4 Children Lovey Even if nobosy else does Hug
