Not really. The part was written for Peter Richardson, but the Beeb insisted on recasting. In any case he was probably the best thing about that benighted programme.

I really like Rich Fulcher's characters - Bob Fossil, Lester Corncrake, etc. and I totally 'get it' with what he's trying to portray.
Just remembered another irritating character, Bobby Wheeler, the curly fro, wannabe actor in bollock hugging jeans from US show Taxi.
