I posted some material through the letter box of an actor and production company owner, after hearing him talk about being interested in ideas. I didn't even get an acknowledgement. I think it would be better to talk to him first and just be friendly until you can gauge whether it's worth taking it further.

Up in Sheffield we had a game where you jammed a cucumber into an old lady's letterbox then knocked on the door and shouted through the letterbox, "look out missus, the martians are coming".. Of course, we didn't have much in the way of toys or anything you know..

They WERE made of cardboard of course ... it's the same now up in Sheffield in my street only now the boxes are all facing *Mecca..
