Thanks for the list KJS - I phoned a fair few up and none of them accept unsolicited scripts.
Does anyone know of any on the list that definitely do accept them?
Hi there...
Just doing some research on prod companies who accept unsolicited. Have a look at this link - http://www.avalonuk.com/development
Hope that helps

Alwright all. Does anyone know any production companies, or a directory or production companies, who make programmes for radio?
Perfectly Normal Productions, Dirk Maggs's company, may be a good one to send stuff to. Mind you, I sent them a script some months ago and I've yet to hear back from them.
Also, Avalon, which is posted above, do radio shows.
Would it be any good to find freelance producers, no just contact the production companies, and see if they are interested in your work, thus helping you?
If anyone has some time spare and fancies researching production companies for us (to publish in our new Writers' Area) please get in touch with me! We have (partial) details on over 200 production companies, but need the gaps filled in before we can make this database public.
Well there is already this from the BBC commissioning site. A bit of googling should tell folks who does what...

Any update on that list, Mark? Will it see the light of day anytime soon?

It should debut with the rest of the new 'Make It' area, as soon as that's finished. We're only about half-way through completing the list at the moment though. If anyone reading this has time to help us research the submission policies for the other half we've yet to do please do message me!
I can supply you with a long list of production companies who will just ignore your email.
If sending an email to production companies what should you include in the mail?
Scripts? Links to your filmed sketches online? A list of your achievements to date?
Is there a winning formula that will give you the best chance of at least getting feedback?
