Laughing out loud

If I never hear that joke again it will be too soon :P

Also I noticed someone has changed my post to include the full title of Till Death Us Do Part lols, thanks as I couldn't remember if it was Us Do or Do Us haha

:)

I would have left it, only there was an ATV version of the show in 1981 called 'Till Death . . . .', in between the end of Till Death Us Do Part and the start of In Sickness & In Health, on the BBC.

The word Geek springs to mind.

Sorry Whistling nnocently

Sadly, I didn't even have to look any of that up.

I more or less gathered :)

Okay to prove that you are full of knowledge whats the difference between the first and second run of Sykes? You can make it up as I actually can't remember.

Depends what you're referring to as the first and second runs. There was a programme called Sykes And A... that ran for nine series. There was then a show, almost identical in setting and even re-making some of the earlier episodes in colour, called Sykes which ran for 7 series.

Believe me, it wasn't a joke more a dread of the future !

:(

I find this task physically impossible.

Blackadder's been said too many times so I wouldn't want to jump on that bandwagon but frankly it's the best thing ever.

Also, My favourite of each era varies from week to week, depending on what Im watching.

60s: Monthy Python's Flying Circus does it count?
70s: Fawlty Towers
80s: BlackAdder
90s: One Foot in the Grave
Bottom
The Thin Blue Line
Men Behaving Badly
Kiss Me Kate
The Peter Principle

2000s: The Office - by 100 miles

The 90s were soooo rich !!

Overall my best decade for sitcoms is the 1990s. Most probably because it's when I was growing up. It had alot of good ones.

2point4 Children
Goodnight Sweetheart
Absolutely Fabulous (First show I was allowed to stay up to watch until the end)
Men Behaving Badly
Birds Of A Feather (ok it was 1989 but it was on for most of 90s)
Next Of Kin
Oh Doctor Beeching!
Chalk
Dad
The Vicar Of Dibley
Keeping Mum
One Foot In The Grave
Keeping Up Appearances
Last Of The Summer Wine (the 1990s era)

On the US front there were

Ellen
Cybill
Roseanne (again started in '88 but ran til '97)
Friends
Frasier

Not a bad list, Beef Paste Boy. Although I'd substitute Peep Show for The Thick Of It.

Beef paste boy. Now there's a t-shirt that might be worth getting printed.
