Miranda - Series 1 Page 34

Any news when it might be out on DVD? Or if there will be a second series?

I disagree. If Stephen Hawkin had landed this role I believe there would have been a mention of physical attributes.

Maybe there is such a discussion on The Simpsons thread. :)

I suspect that if this was a bloke in the main role, we wouldn't be even discussing their physical appearance. :(

That's true (as I said before) but it's equally true to say that when a bloke walks past a building site, his physical appearance is unlikely to be discussed (at 100 decibels) by the workers thereon.

Since time immemorial, women's physical attributes have provoked more comment than men's.

Don't go there girlfriend! Unimpressed

In public maybe... Unimpressed

Second series will likely be decided around Feb-March, and the DVD postponed accordingly.

Although I have widely panned this I would like to see a second series just to see if Miranda can up her game. De-cliche it for a start. Begin by killing off the mother in a road traffic accident and have her friends get a dose of Bubonic Plague.

Not with you on the mother - Patricia Hodge is a wonderfully classy actress we don't see half enough on TV, but that Stevie woman is starting to grate on me a little - funny at times but what on earth is that singing, holding a picture routine all about, anyone? I sniggered the first time, the 18th I started to get a bit concerned.

thanks Aaron :) it's next thing to buy in the week :)

You're honestly going to spend some of your money on the DVD and subject yourself to this programme more than once? :|

Miranda could be made better by.

1 Rewriting the complete script, change all the actors and call it something else.
2 Not watching it.
3 Setting it in Miami and having Dexter kill the whole cast with clingfilm and knives.
4 Having RTD direct it and make everyone gay and talk about gayness none stop.
5 Going back in time and killing everyone involved in the show.

:D Indeed!

Well it is a very funny, feel-good programme.

Well, I respectfully disagree.

Funny?

How?

It's like going to the dentist and finding the anaesthetic has been switched with mescaline.

Actually in fairness the prince Philip line was almost good enough for a comedy show.

And the dancing/waving is so annoying.
