But childhood obesity means the hetero yanks are less likely to reach breeding age. And if they do, they're less likely to be able to find their willies.

I am now very sad. The picture a friend posted is no longer there. It was actually of a Wal-Mart associate with his wife on an off-day. It was certainly "random full body shiver" inducing.
Is Wal-Mart completely associated with "white trash", or is that a little misrepresentative (often in American comedy, to be honest!)?
I went to Kettering today. It must be what Wal-Mart would be like if it were a town.

Yes, it's very white trash, especially in the area where I live. I don't know if that's true for everywhere. I always find it amusing when obviously wealthy people are caught slumming by shopping in there.
Tesco here is a bit like that. (I've never been in a Lidl, etc for more than 5 minutes). Looking at the people and then looking at what's in their trolley is quite depressing. Then I look down at the amount of booze in my trolley, under the wholemeal bread, smoked salmon and organic yoghurt and climb down off my high horse.
What are Asda stores like?

Ahh Lidl. I wonder if people think it's some sort of law Lidl enforces that you must not wash for several weeks before shopping there.
Just wondered, as Wal-Mart supposedly owns a huge chunk of that now too.

Asda was taken over by one of the big American supermarket companies, IIRC?
EDIT: Ah, yes, sorry Andie... 
When I worked for Walmart a few years back, I was given the opportunity to be a part of a team that would be sent over your way to study Asda stores and see what ideas would translate to American stores. Then some hijackers got creative on 9/11 and the project was scrapped.
