Bush Theatre Page 2

The Bush were keen tho, that is one thing I'll commend them for. A sort of community spirited air to the theatre.

This is a good thread. Well done.

Thanks.
The roar of the greasepaint, the smell of the crowd.
Lovely.

...the tedium of rewrites, the bewilderment of workshops, the stress of waiting, waiting, waiting...B*ll*cks to the theatre - they're mainly poofs anyway. Erm...no offence and all that. Huh?

The theatre is OK, now that they've (at last) started making all the plays out of proper films. :)

That'll be the Theatre , then.

:D

I've actually been mulling over an idea for a play for some time. Thanks for the link, Griff. ;)

Is mulling over an idea better than bashing out a pilot in splendid isolation?

:D Cheeky. Unimpressed

I like to mull, thank you very much. In all seriousness, I think a good period of time carefully thinking over a new idea is often more productive in the long run than just going and bashing some keys. Always be writing, of course, but mulling over the next project whilst writing the current one isn't such a waste of time. Is it? Huh?

No I am mulling, even as we speak and it is indeed the mulling season come to think of it. Hopefully I will have mulled suffiently come the deadline. But I don't have to deliver until next year. Unfortunately it is the first day of the next year!

:O

'Delaney reclined in his leather-effect armchair and raised a bitter two fingers of Glenfiddich to his chapped, parched lips. He hated working to a deadline. Especially when it came to the dead. He slumped in his seat, casually undoing his belt... There was always time for a bit of self-relief, wasn't there? All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...?'

Look what too much mulling does to you.

:D

It's very bad form to re-write a fellow author's work you know, Marc? Unimpressed

;) :D

But my character wouldn't find Glenfiddich bitter, even though it is a whisky and not a whiskey it is stil a Speyside and sweet and floral. And of course I had to punch up your punchline! :D
