Their mother died a week ago after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer, and their dad signed off on all rights to them after getting put into prison for the rest of his life. :(

How traumatic for those poor children. I hope they settle in well. :)

I will be celebrating St Andrews Day by making some tatty scones, drinking whisky and starting a fight.

Chip's thinking about getting some of that gay moisturiser for men. Because he's worth it.

Just use something like E45 cream - it's cheaper and works as well.

That sounds like something you put on haemerhoids. :O

Roscoff is in a relationship and has been having lot's of rumpy pumpy lately. For those of you of a nervous nature that's pumpy rumpy.

Flipping heck. :(

Well that's three more kids you can train to like good comedy and dress up as Mitchell and Webb characters, which can only be a good thing! Sounds like they are lucky to get you.

I support this.

Everyone should use moisturiser!

If we were meant to be slick we'd of been born seals.

Jeeez! Hope it goes well, Andie! Hug

And a happy birthday to Bill!

My job actually seems shitter than it was on Friday.

The lawyer just called and told us that the kids' mother's best friend wants the younger daughter and the little boy. That's it. Not all 3. How could she leave one out? I might have a fight on my hands now. She doesn't want the oldest daughter because of the baggage she carries from the situation with the father (you're all smart, I don't have to spell it out). We'll just have to wait and see.

Bloody hell it's not a pic n mix!

Here, I believe you'd be heavily favoured as both family, and wanting to keep the kids together. How does your system work? Being split up from her siblings can only serve to make the eldest's situation even worse!

I believe, as with adoption, it's stricter in the UK than the US as regards who can take in children, etc. Hopefully the social services (what are they called in the US?) will see that it's in the children's best interests to keep them together.

The lawyer thinks that she wants the two younger ones because of the Social Security money they will have coming to them and doesn't want the older because of the therapy she needs. It makes me sick. I think we'll still get them on a temporary basis until things get sorted out. I hope that being family works in our favour (it should) and our desire to keep the kids together. But we're in it for the long haul. :)
