I could understand if you were following some crazy, controversial, left field comedian and then he hit the main stream - but McIntrye is about as anarchic as a gas bill.

As for accusations that his mateial is weak, it is, it's piss poor.

But if that's really the case, why is his new DVD top of the charts and why do his shows all become sell-outs? Or do you think people are going to see him because he's like Peter Kay or Lee Evans; somebody who can appeal to different ages and not swear or be offensive?

I dunno, can't see a real problem with his material myself but each to their own I guess....

Why does Britain lead Europe in obesity, drug use, illiteracy, crime and divorce?

Why do shows like X-Factor, I'm A Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing get the highest ratings?

Why would anyone pay £50 a ticket to see an unfunny bloke at the O2 Arena talk about domestic situations involving his wife?

Answer these three riddles and then I shall let you pass.

There's three 18-year-old girls on Radio 1 right now talking about how they're going to streak tonight's McIntyre gig.

So if you're going, take a camera please.
