Jam and Jerusalem axed Page 3

I liked it though :(

But that's no reason to wrap it up. What did you want? A whole series of 6 episodes? A 2 hour special? A 5 minute piece where a bomb goes off in the village?

Closure

They all eventually die. Happy now?

I mean proper closure.

What happens before they die????!!!!!

I MUST KNOW EVERY DETAIL! :)

Oh it's just crap when they do axe things suddenly. They did it to After You've Gone and Cybil (which still has a cliffhanger unresolved)

Write them yourself. They aren't real people you know.

Jennifer Saunder's son comes back from Afghanistan with post traumatic stress disorder and an AK 47. He wastes them all in a hail of gunfire before sticking the barrel in his mouth and blowing the back of his head all over a wall.

David Mitchell is the only survivor, as he used Dawn French as a human shield and then hid under her bloated corpse during the rampage.

THE END

Did Doc Martin try to save them?

Or was that Way out west?

Ok guys, calm down please.

I'd just like to wish Jennifer well. I don't like to see anybody suffer like that.

(I'm still not a fan of her stuff though!)

There is nothing wrong with ending things, it's healthy.

It's starting NEW things that seems to be the problem these days.. remake, remake, remake..

Although, Dr Who with Matt Smith, I'll concede that one!

Never seen a minute of this show, it seemed to fly past me, can't believe they got three series made and it's already finished because I'm sort of still in that, 'Oh I must get round to watching that now' frame of mind, it seems like only two weeks ago they were advertising it as a new show! Maybe I'll see it on Dave one day...oh no, maybe not, isn't it time Dave had a sister channell called Daphne?

You won't see it on me. I'm no Telly Tubby.

I wasn't sure what to make of this, I saw the first episode on a very long flight and ended up watching it twice because the other stuff that you could choose from was rubbish. I thought it seemed very unfinished? I know it was meant to be a little more sophisticated, more drama orientated and more subtle comedy but it did seem like with all the great talent there should have been a live audience or laughter track? Imagine it as a big hyped up BBC One comedy... I don't think the show was presented in the right form. The Inbetweeners is hysterical without the laughter track but this just felt flat? I know this sounds dumb and might not make sense but the laughter track or live audience kinda let me know when something is funny... sometimes it adds a little heart whereas in The Inbetweeners for example it would spoil it...in this, I think it was a little bit missed. There were some very funny characters but after watching a few episodes I realised the first was the best.

Dawn French was complaining in today's Sun, and wasn't happy that Jam & Jerusalem has been cancelled. Can't wait to see her face when Roger & Val is also cancelled.
