I had a second, so I thought I'd give a better explanation. Matt (my husband) and I have suddenly inherited 3 children. It was a situation where if they didn't go to some kind of family, they would end up in the foster care system, and if you're not aware of what it's like, that is one of the worst things that can happen to a kid. So, I am almost officially a mom to six now. And very busy. We are moving furniture and making space in closets as we speak. I don't know if it will be permanent, but at this point I am treating it as such.
I'll keep you all posted. 
Oh, that brings the grand total to 3 boys and 3 girls, all under the age of 12.

No they came from the very unglamourous southern tier section of New York.

Yeah. The kids are coming with next to nothing. The sad thing is that nobody else in our massive family volunteered at all. We were the only ones.
What do your kids think of it all?
Do you have quite a big house?
Are these kids 3rd neices/nephews 5 times removed or something then? Such drama! I guess that ends your hopes of moving to the UK any time soon.
