So what if you just recorded your voice instead of physically writing? Would that make any difference?

I'm currently trying to think of an idea for a audio project. If I can get my missus to agree to do some voice acting, will try and produce some audio sketches/sitcoms. But I still have to write the damn thing
'Write' as in 'think of the words', but surely you can just record them and that'd be as good as a written script? Or is that the hard part?? I'm confused.
Dear BCG,
I'm horribly unfunny but I still want a primetime BBC Three sitcom slot, what should I do?
Here's an example of me making it up on the spot - http://www.youtube.com/user/Leevildotcodotuk#p/a/u/1/rwWJWPw20WQ
If I recorded everything I thought of, I'd soon run out of disk space. I'm sure it would be a good idea to improvise and see what happens, but like I've said, I do enjoy writing, it's just, personally, it feels like you're the only person in the world and when you get stuck, you can't always ask for help.
It's a very love/hate relationship for me. Plus, it depends on your mood. It's like saying, "I can't be arsed to cook tonight, I'll just get pizza" or something like that anyway

Be VERY re-assured by the things you've seen on there.

Hmm, complicated. But I was getting at, not recording 'everything', but just thinking of what you want to say first, then recording it. So basically it's axactly what you'd be doing at a keyboard, but much quicker and far less effort. But you see I'm assuming it's the labour of writing that's off-putting.
Dear Auntie BCG,
I'm Jewish.

How would I categorize everything I recorded?
Writing is not the problem, coming up with the big ideas is, for me. But I think sootyj may have hit the nail on my head...

You've written some great stuff in the past. You know that's bowlox! I had a big rant at you when you posted a sitcom extract a looong while back telling you to pull your finger out, but I don't think you appreciated it much. You're doomed, DOOMED I tell you!
I'm my own worst enemy.
I think so. But who knows the audio thing might be the answer!
Dear Leevil,
Don't worry you're not your own worst enemy. From the man who masturbates in your sandwiches to those bullies who steal your trousers on the way to work and Barrack Obama (who's blanning to invade your bathroom). You are replete with a great many enemies.
Yours with emnity Auntie BCG.

Hopefully.
I wrote the most I've ever written in my current "sitcom script" (3 pages!) so I'm getting better.
I've written lots of sketches, and I don't think I moan about that. I'd love to write a sitcom that has real worth, but if I don't put the effort it, then I don't deserve it, I know that. Maybe that's what depresses me about writing, my own lethargy? I suck.

Aw, that... nice?

I must admit laziness is like a disease, people say "well do something about it then", but they just don't understand! I would seriously consider trying the recording thing. Gotta be worth a go at least. Just think of the ideas while you're pottering around and have some form of recording device ready. Just name each wav/mp3 or whatever '0001', '0002' etc so you keep them in order and put them in a folder. If you have to write it all out afterwards at least it's just typing without any kind of thinking.
