Providing you're a Muslim. ;)

Not at all, it's 98% Muslim. The country is secular, but cracks are beginning to appear and the country is slipping a little closer to hard-line Islam. Sad.

Oh, ok! I thought wrong then!

That's the best part of Thanksgiving.

Make sure there's plenty left over for weeks of easy to make and lovely sandwiches! I heat it in the microwave but meat tends to cool down really quickly after being microwaved for some reason.

Plus they invaded Cyprus in 1974. Which they shouldn't have done.

And here in the West we frown upon illegal invasions!

Two NATO members attacking each other, no less. When I was in the Army I went to school with a bunch of foreign soldiers. The Greeks lived on one floor of the barracks and the Turks lived as far away on another floor as they could. They refused to even ride the same bus to class.

Yes, there's a lot of animosity between them. It's sad, really.

Laughing out loud

I've heard of this 'sex life'... :(

I'm going to make my gaga again.

I heard that Obama was going to pardon the turkey yesterday and I watched the news but there was no sign of George Bush or Tony Blair.

Chipolata saw a blind woman on the train with a cat this morning.

They had employees in the busy aisles (turkeys, stuffing, pies, baking supplies, etc.) to guide hapless husbands who had been sent to pick up vital ingredients.

I was easy to spot - I was one of the very few people with hair. :)

LOL - there were a few skinheads who weren't so out of choice it's true. Great gig though.

If you change Bush to Burley that's a small cheque from Watson's Wind Up. though the deadline's gone.

Aaron is enjoying his lovely new TV. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

How easy is it to find a whole turkey in the UK? Our stores are overflowing with the damned things at the moment. The guy in front of me at the supermarket bought a 28-pounder!

They're available here all year round (especially frozen and around Easter) but more so now Christmas has apparently begun.

Robyn is apparently chirpy...Odd...
