Kill all psychics? A genuine moral dilemma

Saudi Arabia is going to kill a TV psychic for "witchcraft".

Ali Sibat, a Lebanese psychic who made predictions on a satellite TV channel from his home in Beirut, was arrested by religious police in the holy city of Medina during a pilgrimage there in May 2008 and then sentenced to death Nov. 9.

As much as I despise the Saudi regime and its idiot ways, I have to say this case presents a genuine moral dilemma.

I mean, if Jack Straw decided that Derek Acorah should be disembowelled on live TV, would anybody care? Would Amnesty International even bat an eyelid?

As to the news story. Grief, it truly is a pathetic little planet at times.

Foreigns are quite bizarre and should be 'dealt with'.

My point was not to bash the Saudis (Muslims/"foreigns") but to raise the point that at least they're doing something about the psychics.

We have fraud laws in this country that law enforcement seem reluctant to exercise when it comes to scum like Acorah.

I'm just confused with this planet. Surely the world is big enough for everyone of all persuasions. Surely anybody's (conception of) God is big enough and powerful enough to be able to do his / her / its own wreaking of vengeance, without us doing the dirty work and becoming something less than human at that same instance.
