Why did they chuck one of them out? "Business reasons" sounds quite sinister to me. Drugs? Shagging one of the other's girlfriends/boyfriends?

Billwill has been crying over some poor little onions which have been skinned and chopped into little pieces..

I think they thought they could make it better as a three. I think it could be in conjunction with some TV offers too. Must be pretty hard after 6 years to be suddenly thrown out, I think he really didn't want to leave but had no choice. Kind of ruins it for me a bit. Pappy's are known as the 'nice guys' of comedy - especially in Edinburgh, but that is quite a cold and suprising decision.

Sounds like they got an offer from Alan Sugar.

:P :O

It is a bit weird. Bands have an established history of chucking out members in order to make success more likely, but I can't recall that happening with comedy acts. Obviously former double acts often go their separate ways, with one being far more successful (Bill Bailey originally being in 'The Rubber Bishops', for example), but it's unusual in these circumstances...

I've never seen any of their work that appeals to be (nor that I found funny at all to be honest), but if they work best as a live act anyway, then a change in numbers is unlikely to bring them greater fame by itself.

If anyone is interested -

The TV pilot was abysmal, frankly.

I'm put off by their name as well. I make superficial judgements like that. (It wasn't one of Danny's, was it? Huh?)

Thanks Tim!

Thanks Tim!

Joke, Danny! :D ;)

I liked, nay loved, many of yours, mate. Far superior. Hug

Weird. It's not as if they asked the least television friendly face-d one to leave is it?
Quite the opposite.

The thing is though, he could have been caught thieving or such like. You just never know...

You can't trust anyone these days, Sammy. And, if the rumours are to be believed, this guy was caught with his fingers in the till.
