He is irreplaceable. Unlike the millions of managers chelski seem to have had over the past few years.

But most of them have won a trophy.

Just seen on the news that it's been revealed that David Beckham has been suffering from asthma for years. Apparently this is good, as it will help him to "inspire" kids who also suffer from the disease. First of all, "inspire" them to what, use their inhaler properly? (Yes, asthma can be a horribly frightening and nasty disease - thankfully much more rarely thesedays - but Beckham's asthma I imagine is of the mildest form.) And second, the bloke's been a well-known thick bloke for many, many years, yet no-one has ever said that this should "inspire" kids with learning difficulties.

*shakes head* This bloody country... :(

And what evidence do you have that Beckham is a "well-known thick bloke", other than an image portrayed by the media and hack comedians for many, many years?

You lot . . keep him talking . . I'll phone . .

I'm glad I could be of assistance Sir...Jolly Good...
Same to you and yours...Toodledoo my dear chap...Bye bye.

He's a footballer. Most footballers are thick. QED, Badge my dear fellow. :)

EDIT: And I don't need the media or hack comedians for me to form a prejudiced opinion of someone, thank you very much.

Even if your hypothesis that most footballers are thick were true, it does not logically follow that David Beckham is thick, so it is far from QED. In fact, the opposite. DEQ, if you like. I would have thought a man of science would understand this?

JUst think, a man who wakes up to the woman who croaked "Dave you're out of your mind, this tune's gonna punish you."
can't be too bright.

I stand by my theory, sir. If I ever have the opportunity to take measurements of his skull I shall also tell you whether he is from the criminal class.

Most British footballers are thick. European players however seem to be quite clever though - because most of them cheat.

no, you relied on 11 men to win very little

Vialli - 2 Years 7 months at Chelsea = 5 Trophies
Mourinho - 3 years 1 month at Chelsea = 6 Trophies
Hiddink - 4 months at Chelsea = 1 Trophy
Ancelotti - 4 months at Chelsea = 1 Trophy

Total = 6 Years 4 Months
Trophies = 13

That's more than two trophies a season Mike. You make no sense. Again.

Now compared to those names above, what did Alex Ferguson win in his first 3 years at Manchester United?

Nothing.

Nada.

Zilch.
