You'll have to ask around for that Miss Floozy. I'm not entirely sure! :)

What's sugar soaping?

Lit. Theory !

Here's a tip: Always refer to it as 'clit', you'll make a ton of friends and admirers in no time (it was 'criticism and literary theory' though in my time)!

I actually tried it a few times, but unluckily for me no-one at my uni had a sense of humour.

Maybe some of them post on here now... Whistling nnocently

We have "ILT" though! Introducing Literary Theories! And Elliot has Reading Theory and Interpretation. Maybe they caught onto the potential for jokes, and got rid of it.:P

Ha! That's probably it, the big boros :( They ruined a perfectly side-splitting joke there!

See our generation really lived, Andie :P They don't know what they're missing now.

We're missing CLIT, apparently. :P

Oh, I know. I had a sociology class that we shortened to TWAT, but I can't remember what the full name of the class was. A drawback to our generation being older now. :(

I read scientology for a moment there! Haha, you had TWAT 'and' CLIT! Blimey I think I did the wrong degree :P But I thought you didn't use that word over there? Huh?

Teary

I had a friend who was originally from London and another from Greenock. By the end of the semester I was using a lot of their terms for stuff. I use twat all the time.

That's what my girlfriend complains about all the time...

You don't use twat in America?

No, not that I've ever heard. However I am in the northeastern hill people portion of the country. I hear lots of "aints, don't gots, and on account of becauses."

Unlike in our country the north-east normally has the more cosmo Americans so I will take your word for it.

Perhaps not as often as the UK, but it is definitely used. I've even heard my 67-year-old mother use the term. (She was describing Britney Spears.)
