I do the daily mail crossword through the week. It's a good one.

Noooo they haven't got to you too Marc-p...are you being funny?

LIME5000 - I wasn't referring to you, just the plethora of people on here with disturbingly 'right-wing housewife-esque' views.

Not at all. I don't read newspapers but I do do the crossword. To add a bit of balance I do the Daily Telegraph crossword on a Saturday, :)

I agree that a touch of a wordgame keeps the juices fresh and opens up the pathways for ones cerebral matter to breathe. So true.

Oh york is a magically middle class place! It's the race course it deflects chav scum and wankers.

That's what the country needs to be like then, one big York.

That's the one I do*, but I haven't kept up with it recently as I don't often buy the paper.

*'Do' does mean attempt & not complete doesn't it?

:D

one big York.

Is this big enough?

I usually finish it, sometimes it's the next morning but usually I do it at the bar and then go home for me tea!

That's definitely the meaning of the verb when it's in its masculine form anyway. :)

A York Peppermint Pattie. A thin shell of dark chocolate around a soft, sugary center with a powerful peppermint flavor.

That sounds supoib. Mint and chocolate were made for each other. I'll take 3 please. And a tub of mint & chock-chip ice cream while you're at it.
