I'm sorry, Marc. I only watched til the end of the opening credits where your name pops up. Still, cool to see that!

Don't think I spotted your joke though. Unless it was the one where a giant woman marries a short bald guy.
The joke was..
So that's what this has all been about... Bigamy.
No it bloody wasn't Doc, if you hadn't poked your nose in etc etc
--------
But they buried it.

It's the best bit.
That was a lot of fun, and I did not see the twist in the marriage storyline coming.
Why is it when I watch Doctors I never recognise anyone from the last episode I watched? Anyway, great to see the wonderful Chris Walker playing a plod again.
I tried to watch but my mum and sister unexpectedly turned up. My mum showed interest though, repeatedly asking what programme it was and what channel it was on. So I gave her a glass of wine (she's been teetotal until recently), to keep her quiet, but instead she became increasingly chatty and inquisitive.
Still the detective woman's make-up was very natural - she had a huge orange tidemark like she'd done the make-up herself and the big bride/leprechuan was funny.
And Marc was it in your stage directions that the girl had to run around with her bra showing perchance?
Sort of but only for dramatic reasons.
The guy in the cell was supposed to be dressed in an old fashioned prisoners uniform complete with hat, but the budget obviously crunched that.

Cheers Timbo
Dammit I missed it.
But by all accounts it was very well written - and where's the fun in that? What am I supposed to write 'Well done Marc, it was quite good'?
Bah!
(Congratulations Marc BTW)

Forgot to mention, nice choice of name for absent villain.

Scottidog wasn't it?
Quote: Marc P @ November 20 2009, 12:58 PM GMTThe originality in Doctors lay in the fact that every epsidoe back then was self contained. Even the serial was arced in every episode with a stand alone story of the day or two as well. It was very much seen as the best take on A Play for Today at the time, and there was nothing like it on British daytime televison, then or since.
And it starred Christopher Timothy, who was a huge star in Oz thanks to ACGAS. I was not aware he went on to star in a medical drama. I'd only heard him reprising his father's role as announcer of the Goon Show in a one-off special. Do the writers get more paychecks if Doctors is sold/screened abroad?

You get a little bit here and there Kenneth, not a great deal.

It was indeed.
He was called Scott but I added a bit.
Surely you can't get more villainous name then LeEvil?
*looks at Kenneth*
Never mind.
