When are the Beeb going to screen their remake of Day of the Triffids? They sure are keeping me waiting . . .

Got an email from MSN promoting their new MSN Player or sommink? I'm sure I saw 'Day of the Triffids' in their library.

Ah yes, that's the old remake. I'm talking about the NEW remake that they've had in the works for way too long now . . .

Ha! The news is going to shit with all this WEATHER . . . !

The TV weather's a bit like the boy that cried wolf. They need to get a grip and some sense of proportion. Every bloody week they issue a "severe weather warning", for we used to call "rain" when I was a lad. *grumble grumble* Angry

The Culture Show. They should just do a full hour of Mayo and Kermode. I'm not interested in how good Steve Martin is on the banjo . . .

Oh, is he on there? Thanks for the heads up! :)

I prefer his banjo playing to his comedy . . .

I love his classic comedies, not really interested in any of his family-themed stuff though. And not really sure what he's doing comedy-wise lately.

I'm currently learning the banjo - fo' real :)

Question Time has been put on after ITV threatened me with Piers Morgan and Vinne Jones . . .

Well Steve's tip is to get some banjo records and slow them right down and learn them note by note.

Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid I like very much :D

Can you play the Deliverence tune yet . . ?

Young Butcher of the Year - I'm hooked!

>_< Ouch.

I've got no beef with that.

Waters of Mars - on Bowie Base 1.

And Ian was spouting on about how it was the south that would get flooded. Ha!

I taught myself the banjo part on Float by Flogging Molly. A crowning achievement in my book. :D
