Richard, I see from your profile that you like "off the wall" stuff and have been writing on and off for twenty years. I am a big fan of skewed comedy myself but I struggled to find any purchase in your script. As Morrace says the spelling etc is pretty bad, even by my own standards so I would definitely sort that out. Being oblique is fine, but this, just seems random.

What the f**k's a pasry?
That's not 'off the wall', it's just nonsense that no one can understand.

That's exactly how Pinter's best plays were first reviewed. Cool

And your point is?

And your point is?

We've had a spate of strange scripts recently and while I respect Zoo's opinion - indeed, I wouldn't seek to disagree with it - we must allow that 'total bollocks' can sometimes be the product of a brilliant mind.

Let me stress that I'm not suggesting our recent crop of 'bollocks-writers' are necessarily more talented than they appear or that their works are worthier than they appear.

I'm merely suggesting we should allow the possibility. Cool

I just meant that the original reviews of Pinter were not that far off the mark.

I'm with Timbo on this. I can't stand Pinter.

A few stiff whiskies is exactly what you need before sitting through one of Harold's masterpieces.

I had put a totally different connotation on that...

I'm just pleased you got it.

And I don't suppose it was a KitKat.

More like a finger of fudge...
