Further pointless fact - when Andy is playing a genie in panto alongside Les Dennis (series one), the theatre is supposed to be in "Guildford". The theatre is actually in Wimbledon!

They use the Wimbledon Theatre for most theatres in TV shows though.

Mm. Interesting. I wonder if their decision not to broadcast is based on our criticism of PhoneShop before it aired? I'd hope so. But probably not.

I'd hope that it's ten times better than PhoneShop though. At least. God that was awful.

He script-edited.

>_<

I just watched it on Catch up.

The white bloke with the black accent is a real tosser isn't he. Why do they do it?

I was watching all the high street scenes to see if I was there.

It wasn't bad and basically reinforces what I was saying about Mobile phone shop staff a couple of years ago on here. Maybe that's where Gervais got the idea. Should I sue?

Gervais didn't get the idea!

He just had a read through the script and pointed out any massive errors, or maybe suggested a couple of improvements. He didn't wriiiiite iiit!

See? I gave them the idea!

Did you also observe a stick being brown and sticky?

The first of - um - one!

I really liked that. :D The only one so far that has shown true potential for a series. I actually laughed out loud a few times. A couple of bits fell a bit flat, but it has definite room for growth and I'd love to see a series.

That final breakdown scene was great. As were the pub scenes/fruit machine bit. :D

Thought David Cross was very good in the role, as was Sharon Horgan, although there wasn't enough of her; hopefully this gets a full series and we get to see these characters developed.

:)

Just watched the first two.
I think I preferred the Mobile phone one, but Campus did have some funny bits.
Both Ok, but nothing special as far as I was concerned.

I finally watched Phone Shop last night. Nothing to say other than I have fallen madly in love with the lovely and talented Emma Fryer. Lovey

Anyone else watch tonight's one?
