Yus, played by a v. young Robert Glenister.

Is that true? I vaguely remember fancying him.

Yeah. I remember this show, being a bit of a Peter Davison fan at the time. He's a regular in Spooks at the moment if you fancy a bit of the old Glenister eye-candy.

Yeah, he hasn't aged well! I probably liked him at the time because he was a bit punky or something. I was sad like that.

I saw him in Miranda on Monday and thought he looked okay.

Ah, the sadness of youth. I was hoping I'd grow out of mine.

We're talking bout Glenister, not Davison. Jeez, man, get wid the programme!
Davison doesn't seem to have aged at all.

That's because he's a Time Lord. *Runs away in self disgust*
Quote: Steve Charlie @ November 19 2009, 7:58 AM GMTit is more in your Only Fools and Horses class rather than your 'Bless This House' class. I don't like Bless This House.
I do. You blasphemer!
The Other One is another forgotten classic in my opinion.
Holding The Baby was an ignored classic.

Sound the perfect comeback vehicle for Chris Langham
Really? I believe myself to have watched every single episode and I can confidently assure you that Chris Langham wasn't in any of them.
I meant the title sounds like the perfect show for him to be in.
He would have fitted in very well in Next Of Kin or 2 Point 4 Children

Yes. Davison played Brian - responsible and studious. Steve (younger bro) was lazy and irresponsble - tending to drag Brian down a bit. Sonia was Brian's gf and was very 'green and eviro, concsious' and tried to be encouraging. I thought Davison looked quite different in it as he had black rimmed glasses and longer brown hair. Although he's done other comedy I don't think he's done much other sitcom and he played it in more of an exaggerated sitcom style than his usual calm low key style. I remember Brian always used to lecture Steve saying something like "I worked hard so I could go to university. But what did you do?". It was sort of a catch phrase. Wouldn't it be a pain having a brother saying that to you all the time!

Fair enough. I've only seen a few episodes. Maybe I should give it more of a go.
I though 'Second Thoughts' was good - if you like that kind of low key middle class stuff. Good cast. Mind you I've only ever seen 1st series on DVD as last time looked that was all available. Never seen Faith in the Future (the spin off). What comes to mind is their dog was called 'Deefa' (i.e. D. for Dog).
