I couldn't get arrested.
Miranda reminds me a bit of Bernard Bresslaw.

Not a phrase you hear often.
Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ November 18 2009, 4:31 PM GMTSo does that mean her boyfriend will no longer be in it? That's going to throw a lot of viewers I reckon. Having said that, it's wise, because it was getting very samey, that relationship thread. Hope the new threads take us somewhere new then.
They can't get rid of the boyfriend! If Tom Ellis goes it will make it less interesting to watch
I don't think they'll get rid of him, but move on to other things.
But yes, a real shame.
What a pile of shit that was.

Here here, why is every one bigging up a show that makes Allo Allo look subtle?
Because it's funny, like a sitcom should be.

A lot of Allo Allo was very good.

It's unfunny like a funeral should be.
Sorry but obvious gags, it's so obvious it practically has a Spotify style count down to the next feeble punchline.

People who are bigging it up are probably doing so because they like it, sootyj.
Episode 2 wasn't as good as the first but I still enjoyed it. I think it has a knowing charm. The scripts might not be sophisticated but it's a show that's driven totally by the lead performance.

And that is why democracy is a failed experiment.
Most posters are loving it. A few seem to hate it. Do I detect tinges of jealousy because something so simple is making a lot of people laugh? 'Miranda' is not pretending to be anything other than a simple and obvious, fun type sitcom. If that is what people want after a day at work then what is wrong with that? There's plenty of deeper stuff on TV to satisfy the hard to please.
