Car Parking

Sorting through some old pen drives and found this...
----------------------------------------------------------

roof of office block. jumper stands on the edge. Man approaches slowly.

MAN:Excuse me.

JUMPER:Stay back. I'll jump.

MAN:That's what I wanted to talk to you about.

man gets closer.

JUMPER:You'll not stop me. You can't talk me out of it.

man stands next to jumper.

MAN:I realise that, it's just that...

JUMPER:What? I've got so much to live for? Things can't be that bad? Well I haven't, and they are.

MAN:Well... you see... could you move about five feet to your left.

JUMPER:Why, so that you can grab me and pull me back?

MAN:No... (POINTING DOWN) That's my car, it's taken me twenty minutes to find that space and I don't want to have to move it again.

Laughing out loud

Yeeeesss!!

I think the laughs will come immediately after "MAN: No... (POINTING DOWN) That's my car" and the rest of the line will be lost.

That's no bad thing in my view as "MAN: No... (POINTING DOWN) That's my car" is all the punchline you need. ;)

Lovely jubbly but get the title changed, damn you :D

Very good, made me laugh, but I'd reiterate what Roodeye said about the punchline.

Good stuff all the same!

Cheers folks... It could stand to lose the last bit. I always tend to think radio and chuck in unnecessary exposition.

haha funny Smyling.

Funny.

:D

Very good.

Thank you folks

:)

Another good jumper sketch. Laughing out loud
