Agree with Kiss Me Kate. Again, that will never see the light of day for the same reason as People Like Us, which was brill, but I don't consider it underrated.

Dan

Howcome they won't see the light of day? I don't remember Kiss Me Kate being that bad really, though I haven't seen it in years.

One of the cast members, was a very naughty boy [allegedly]!

I don't think you have to put allegedly anymore as it was proven in court.

Because they starred Chris Langham, who has since served a jail term for posessing images of child pornography.

Oh you mean Chris thingy -ma-bob?

He's hardly likely to jump out of the TV snatch a few kids and run off into wonderland is he?

For some strange parallel universe reason, I thought he was found innocent. Now either I had forgotten or just never actually heard the outcome? Which I very much doubt it. :/

No, but the tabloids and the self-righteous brigades would have a field day.

They could always super impose someone elses face onto his and get someone to dub over it.

I think Mr Blobby might be available

Look Around You - Especially S1, although only 10 mins an episode, they were very good and overlooked because of the funny, tagged on time they were put on.
Stella Street - Although it became a little samey along the way there were some very funny moments, possibly suffering for the same reasons as ^.

Giggle-o!

I liked Look Around You because it was very odd. That one with the Helvetica Scenario - inspired. I think it was in the same episode where you had helium being blown onto a pile of 'intelligent calcium' and it appeared to move several hundred miles away. I laughed my socks off at that.

The second series wasn't anywhere near as good.

the science eel!

Although I agree the second series wasn't quite at the same level, having rewatched S2 recently I still think it is very good, again had some genuinely funny moments. I remember laughing heartily at Serafinowicz dipping his hand repeatedly in to a beaker of boiling water, for some silly fake experiment, and it coming out gradually redder and redder. I also found the 'I just don't know' woman very funny in the record breaking episode (someone help me out with the actual name of the ep.). Very good and under appreciated IMO.

It's very hard to watch him and laugh knowing what you know, I find.

FILTHY, RICH AND CATFLAP
Anyone remember it?

My all-time favourite sitcom!

Like The Young Ones it featured loads of cameos from comedians around at the time, Alexei Sayle, Arthur Smith, Norman Lovett etc.

The wonderful second episode had 'cameos' from:

The Nolans
Harry Enfield
Fry and Laurie
Gareth Hale
Chris Barrie
David Baddiel

Doesn't bother me. What's funny is funny.

I still like The Naked Gun films even though there's a murderer in them.
