Doctor Who... Page 350

I'm glad there wasn't anything as silly as that flying bus from Planet Of The Dead in this episode. Gadget (Gadget) had the potential to become silly and annoying, but I quite liked him. :)

Anyway, I loved The Waters Of Mars. Definitely one of the best RTD episodes.

And the finale! Donna! The Master! Wilf! Lucy Saxon! The Ood! :O

I liked the gadget gadget catchphrase too, wasn't sure at first but realy did by the end.

I liked the fact they commented on hating the 'funny robot' character in sci-fi shows.

This will air here in December. Can't wait.

It's a good ep; gets lovely and dark and Tennant is awesome.

I expect my kids to be hiding behind the sofa, as usual.

The bit with David Tennant helmeted up and with a magnified face where he was making the specch on the monitor was as good as it gets, really really good.

He's pretty darn terrific at the heavy stuff when given the chance.

Okay, leaving this thread. I don't want to hear anymore.

That's quite enough about you firing off shotguns indoors and blindfolded.

Lucy Saxon!

<3 <3 <3 <3 Lovey Lovey Lovey

I thought it was a very good, really enjoyed it.
The monsters were scary, the device of the fixed point in time was a good one and it left you wanting more.
It had it's flaws but it's definitely up there amongst the best episodes.

So you think Russell T Davies and his team, coming to the end of their tenure on Doctor Who, just couldn't be bothered to work out an interesting way for the Doctor to get out of this situation (as if that was difficult) and said, what the hell, let him use the Tardis? When rule number one for any new script writer on Doctor Who is (1) The Doctor never uses the Tardis to escape.

Or maybe Russell T Davies and his team are not moronic, witless, dullard hacks and are actually aware that this is a taboo for Doctor Who; that there is a dramatic purpose to the script; that showing the Doctor break such a hard and fast rule shows the line has been crossed, that this is not the Doctor as you know him any more.

Maybe you are right and they don't give a damn. Maybe they are happy to phone-in a substandard script and can't wait to move on. Or maybe they want to make this the best send off they can and unfortunately this is going over some people's heads?

Are you working on the show?

So Griff was right then, is that what you're saying? :)

Lot of fuss over a kids show, I must say. Rolling eyes
