Miranda - Series 1 Page 17

I enjoyed it more than last week as well, although I would have tweaked a scene or two myself. I just wonder how long they can keep the relationship with her and her bloke going, tho, as the comedy in that's already getting a bit repetitive. They need more stuff like the old French teacher thread, that was a really good one.

I just do not believe that Miranda and that man would EVER get together... so there's no point having the whole relationship between them. Have Miranda have another love interest come in.

They are actually married in real life Ellie.

:O

I still haven't seen it. That's not much f**king use to this thread is it?

Alright it was big fat lie, but do you see what I did there. :D

Hmm, yes and no - Generally speaking you're right ofcourse, but you do v occasionally see couples together that you just can't imagine ever happening. I actually think the woman could pull in real life, she's quite attractive, and that sense of humour thing works the other way round too.

I don't mean the looks thing... believe me I know sense of humour works as a pulling thing.

She's just a very strange woman in the show. The man seems very down to earth and is a chef not a raving looney.

I've seen her on other things and I agree... she is an attractive woman. I'm saying in the show... it's unbelieveable.

She is Rigsby to his Mrs Jones.

Yeah I know, but it is wild caricature, and even the asides thing make it clear it's not a realistic type sitcom.

I agree with Ellie. I don't buy that he would fancy her. Not as a looks thing - it's just how intense she is with him. I just think he would be running to the hills by now, not making her his 'safety wife'.

Well he doesn't fancy her does he. A safety wife by fifty five wasn't it? He just sees her as a friend whilst she wants more. It's an old formula just often the other way round.

Why did he go to kiss her then?

I believe he's married to Tamsin Outhwaite.

Well he might have got a shag.

Was there ever a better epsidoe of EE than New Years Day, the first day of the new millenium, when the lovely Tamsin had broken poor Ian's heart and the whole square had to pick up the pieces?

I liked her best in Red Caps I think. I liked that show.
