In Soviet Russia, jokes laugh at you.

Laughing out loud

Completely unscary monsters - oh no, they are made of water, that's frightening. I like the way they had to write in certain bits to explain away the cack logic - um, they have internal fission, yeah, that's it, that's why they don't freeze - wouldn't the fission just boil the water into vapour? - Like shut up.

No 'monsters' are really scary, to be fair (unless the monster is the EU). But those employed by Doctor Who are particularly lame.

As for Aaron's 'flames on Mars', he is totally correct but missed completely the fact that the robot had jet engines built into it in the first place.

I'd forgotten about that one! Bizarre.

(Where's that from?)

His sonic screwdriver am magic!

Stop thinking about it!

:)

Yakov Smirnoff. Although I think I first heard it in The Simpsons.

Oh I thought you'd made it up.

*disappointed*

Laughing out loud I did, but it was based upon that. Errr

I'm not sure what Yakov Smirnoff is, so I'm going to assume that I know it from The Simpsons.

He's an immigrant comedian from the USSR who became famous in the 80s. Many of his jokes centered on his new home in the U.S. and contained the line "What a country!"

Ah, that makes sense then.

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here - the live feed from the jungle keeps screwing up . . .

It's saving you from yourself.

You do know that the 'jungle' is in fact the private grounds of a five star hotel.

They're basically living in the Austrailian version of Centre Parks.

And why are you watching such rubbish? Unless it's research into a very witty and topical sketch about z-list celebrities eating poo.

Think its a sign of impending Jordan . . .

Because it's on while I sell my junk on eBay (free listing day, folks). I've never reached the point of caring if they're in a real jungle or not - what does it matter . . . ?

Who, with the possible exception of ITDavid, "researches" sketches? All you do is watch a load of old sketch shows, puts some new hats on the characters, modernise it by mentioning "the internet" and you're basically done. :)
