Ha!
Yes.
PARTRIDGE Page 3
now i've looked him up i recognise his face. he's from those adverts.
Well, yes.
But I'm sure he'd prefer to be known at least as 'that one from the successful comedy show Green Wing.'
Quote: chipolata @ October 1, 2007, 10:25 AMI love this show more than any other comedy - even the unfairly treated second series - but I hope they don't do any more. If Coogan wants to do any more TV comedy, I'd like to catch up with Paul Calf or Gareth Cheeseman. Even better, I'd love to see Coogan and Rob Brydon do something on screen together, because I thought they were great together in that Michael Winterbottom film.
Don't quote me on this, but I do believe that they were going to do a Gareth Cheeseman series, but changed their minds and did IAP instead. Which is why it's set in a Travel Tavern. I think.
I sawa classic one last night where he tries to climb over a fence and gets a spike right through his foot.
Later at an awards ceremony where he's doing the speech he can't help being ill all the time.
Hilarious!
its always nice to spot the little cameos as well.
peter serafoniwicz as the bloke who likes american things.
graham linehan as the irish tv bloke - sunday bloody sunday.
i think rob brydon was in the last episode of series 2.
and obviously that bloke from the adverts as dan.
Kevin Eldon was a laughing bloke, who Alan Hated.
Simon Pegg and a dude I can't remember played directors.
Actually I think I'd prefer it if Coogan did another series of Saxondale.
Only kidding! Bring back Partridge. The best thing Coogan, Baynam, Ianucci and Marber ever did, collectively or alone, including that sweary play of Marber's.
They all probably want to move on, but Partridge is the perfect comedy creation - self-obsessed but lacking confidence, Rude, but cowardly, Snobbish but crude, etc.
Coogan will be buried in a green blazer, whether he likes it or not.

Is that a threat???
Well, if i killed him, the BBC news would say Steve Coogan, famous for creating Alan Partridge etc.

A dude you can't remember! That's Peter Baynham for gods sake! He co-wrote the bloody thing.
Haha, well I don't know shit
It was great that Arthur Matthews and Graham Linehan were in an episode. Especially as they didn't write Alan Partridge - usually they made cameos in just Ted.

They did, however, write 'Dearth Of A Salesman' (the Gareth Cheeseman one) - the best episode of Coogan's Run.

The ONLY good episode of Coogan's Run. And it wasn't that good.
