TTPYO - people.

TTPYO - people.

Agree, yes. People being humans. The bastards! Who do they think they are?

I'm sure we all feel upset with 'people' now and again, but on balance, I'd say people are my favourite animals, far better than any others for conversation or sex.

Bonnie Carmichael. Every time there's a break in band and I want to carry on and practise or the same at the end of band she says 'you can stop now.' I WANT TO FUCKING KILL HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this an over reaction? Worried of Bermondsy.

Laughing out loud

IE 8 is really pissing me off Angry
It keeps completely wiping all my usernames and passwords and it's difficult to remember some of them.
Worse is that I have £30 in a cashback site I need to withdraw but I can't remember my username, password, or which email I joined with grrrrrrrrr! F**ked off!

Why are you still using IE8? :S

Because that's the latest for XP.

Download anything else. Start with Firefox and see how you get on with that. It's what most people use nowadays.

It'll even transport all your favourites and passwords (well, maybe Pleased).

Cheers. I've already got Firefox though, I just prefer IE (well, did until it started this shit).
Suppose I'll have to make the switch if it's gonna keep doing this. Still too late to get at my £30 though :( Angry Dunno what to do about that.

Ask, Aaron. He uses (or used) a browser that is based on IE, but is apparently better. Can't remember what it's called though?

Thanks. I suppose FF isn't a million miles away from IE though. Just when I get used to something I never want to change.

That's really bizarre. I can't say I've heard of a problem like that, certainly not with IE8. I'd recommend doing a full virus scan of your computer first. Something quite peculiar is going on. Sure you've not set up some privacy software to wipe all of your cookies, passwords, browsing history etc?

But yes, I'd suggest switching anyway. I use and swear by Maxthon. Can't recommend it highly enough.

That's the fella!

TTPYO:

Having to resist being passive aggressive. Wait a minute... Huh?

Full system scan might be a good idea, haven't done one for a long time. But it only started happening after I installed that. I had to log back in here a bit back - nearly forgot my password so I would've had to text you! but luckily I remembered it eventually.
I certainly don't (knowingly) have anything installed that wipes my cookies for me, and I've had the same security software installed for ages so it can't be that. Thanks for the Maxthon link I'll give that a go.

Possible that it's something you've had lurking on your system, but only targets IE8. You should be good with Maxthon though. Turn on Magic Fill when you install. :)
