Things you like, but know you shouldn't really... Page 35

Errr

I never found Dolly anything less than delightful.

The forum will be a lesser place without her.

....Although I quite liked Morrace as well.....

Anyway! I for one hope Dolly will be back soon. :)

I can appreciate that threads can occasionally become a bit of a bear-pit. In those cases the gag-sters and the most vociferous posters sometimes seem to prevail.

Only in their own minds. Having the last word just means that you are the psycho no-one can be bothered arguing with anymore. Or that you're Steve.

Seriously though, I am sure I am not part of any clique (is there a membership form I can complete?), and I don't have any problem with anyone on here, well except for one guy; everyone else is light and shade, even those who can be a bit psycho. Why can't everyone be more like me, and get on with everyone else? Except for that one guy - he's a c**t.

Anyway we need Dolly back; there's too much testosterone washing about this place. And not enough skirt.

For my four-penneth worth, I think it's unavoidable that cliques and so forth develop on such forums. I don't think we should be suggesting that they don't exist.

However, I don't really have a problem with this. It's quite understandable that these things happen. I just tend to mind my own business. And that.

I hope D.D.'s absence will be temporary.

Hi all,

Sad thing to stumble across this morning. Hopefully Dolly will be back.

It's very difficult for the moderators to be able to help people who are feeling unhappy with the board if we are not told. I do hope I am someone people can come to if they are feeling unhappy.

There is certainly no "clique" but maybe members who post more, have met in real life, or have been around a long time (I've been typing on the forums nearly 3 years), have a stronger familiarity and maybe "in" jokes due to knowing each other better than others, but it is certainly not designed to make others feel alienated. You only have to see the introductions to see how we make everyone feel very welcome.

If people have problems PLEASE talk to a moderator so we can help.

Do go on....

Has Dolly gone? Come back Dolly!

Cliques? I didn't think there were any. There used to be, but it's died away lately. Although if you want to come back Dolly, you can form a clique with me, the single most powerful BCGer there's ever been. ;)

That's what we wanted you to think.

I don't like cliques, and tend to stand alone, nobly, at the edges of the BCG in my big black coat. Cool

Sorry to see you go Dolly. *

* Considers a Dolly Partin' gag...decides against it.
