Games need rules, otherwise we're just spouting random words until society crumbles and we resort to cannabilising each other's corpses.

There are/were, but should we add a take away rule? I'm for it.

Sorry, I didn't read the rules properly. I thought you were trying to create a game that could go on indefinitely, little difficult if the word keeps getting bigger.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ November 10 2009, 9:30 PM GMTI think we need to call in a referee on this one - you took away a letter and swapped the order of the letters, shouldn't it be one or t'other? Not both?
Surely Loiters can become Toilers, Looters or even Lofters?
Oops. Sorry.

But much more fun/challenging if the word must keep the same number of letters or grow bigger by one letter at a time.

And another thing, "no repetition" would be a nice rule.

It has to get smaller too though or you'll get to a point where you can't get any further - or is that the point?
Quote: Chappers @ November 10 2009, 9:53 PM GMTor you'll get to a point where you can't get any further - or is that the point?
It would be more challenging. And whoever comes up with the final word that can't be morphed (by rearranging the letters or adding a letter) wins and starts with a new word (preferably a three-letter word)? No? Whatever kills the thread...

Yeah. The point was to make it more taxing as it went on, and to have a winner when no-one can change the last word. Then that person chooses another 2 letter word to start again. Pretty much as Kenneth says. But if people think it's better to keep one game going...*shrugs*

Ermmm...Surely you can only keep one game going if no-one can change the last word as you have stated, so surely by the fact that we are still going means that people can still change it... and that's why they are keeping one game going...
