Go for it. If I wasn't so interested in getting Tiger Woods Gulf my Wii would be out the door already helping me pay for "Left 4 Dead 2".

Yeah it's great.
Especially the Multi player.
But I like all the Mario games anyway.

I still occasionally play Super Mario: All Stars on an emulator and if I'm home, on my Snes.

Snes Super Mario world is still the best, This one has got Yoshi as well though so it looks promising.

I quite fancy getting a good FPS but the ones on the Wii are dissapointing.

How does the four player thing work? Are you all tied to the screen or is it split?

All on the same screen.
It Zooms out if you get too far away.
When they die the other players can get them out of a bubble & bring them back.
And you can pick each other up & throw them about which is fun.

I haven't tried the mini games yet.

Sounds pretty good then. Although will anything beat the original Mario Kart for party games?

I remember someone who used to have a Wii.
