Miranda - Series 1 Page 2

Just watched a clip and think it looks like it could potentially be my new favourite sitcom (there now I've said that it will get axed after 1 series).

I think it would be better on BBC One at 8:30 rather than dusty old BBC Two, which apart from Top Gear doesn't pull in the viewers - even Channel 4 and Five get more regularly.

I hope it's a hit and they move it to BBC One.

Aw, Aaron. You saved him the monumental effort of posting another exact same opinion twice on two threads we can all still read.
Shame on you. :)

Chill out 'zooo'.

As I stated, I listened to the radio show and thought it was garbage. Based on this, I see no way that they can turn it around in a manner dramatic enough for it to be any good on TV.

Okay 'jim', I 'will'. :)

But you never stated anything about listening to the radio show.

Miranda Hart for me is a little like Marmite, only I have yet to make up my mind whether I love her or hate her. She's right there in the middle and can easily topple either side. I'll let tonight's episode do the toppling

Others on the Marmite list include

Holly Willoughby

Jayne Middlemiss

Danyl from X Factor (In fact the spelling of his name has just sent him Hate Side!)

I know what you mean about Miranda. I didn't used to think too much of her either, but didn't quite hate her. But now she does rather amuse me, and I even follow her on that Twitter contraption!

She's another one of those slightly posh comedy ladies who make me wish I'd gone to boarding school (and roomed with them, natch). Miranda Hart, Tamsin Greig, Sue Perkins and Emma Kennedy. Oh what japes we could have... japed.

Laughing out loud

By japes do you mean lesbian sex romps?

:O

...on that Twitter contraption!

Ah, that newfangled tweeting thingummyjig that appears to be popular with the 'in-crowd'. Yes, I believe I've heard of it.

Twitter contraption!

Not to be confused with Twitter Contraception, which is what I'm using to make sure I don't have any little Twitter's

*I've already got my coat and left*
