Is "caramelised" just a fancy way of saying that there's a lot of sugar in it?
Fancy way of saying burnt.
I've just had roast beef with a mustard crust, home made yorkshires, peas and carrots.
Nooo! It's got a top like on crème brulée. It's lovely! And yes, I do know that brulée means burnt, but it's not a bad burnt.

Just ate two bowls of Coco Pops.
I had Vietnamese eel soup yesterday, it was ace.
Flesh poached and skin fried.
Followed by authentic Pho with beef, hooray for Vietnamese cuisine.
I'm effing starving.
I just had my fix of chocolate biscuits, forgetting that I have a Halloween chocolate lollipop type thing in the fridge . . .
