McDonald's Sketch - Social Comment.

The first one was more sad and horrific than funny.

.....Of course this one might not be much better.

You said "social comment" in the title.

I cannot explain how bad an idea that was.

I haven't seen the Advert, but there seems to be a good idea in there.

Nice shots of the internals of a well decorated, newly fitted McDonald's restaurant.

Shots of a smiling 2.4 children family enjoying a happy meal walking past the restaurant

VO : The happy contented families were just passing by.

Shots of happy, healthy school girls with school bags walking past the restaurant

VO : And the school kids, full of life and promise, were just passing by.

Shots of female office workers joking outside the door and then parting going in different directions, none of which were into the restaurant.

VO : The smart administration assistants with their important deadlines were just passing by.

Shot of a happy fat man walking past without so much of a glance at the restaurant.

VO : And the jolly people, in all their glory were just passing by.

Shot of a packed rush hour scene, no one goes into the restaurant.

VO : And the busy people with places to go, were, unfortunately just passing by.

Shot of same restaurant with its windows with whitewash over them and a big estate agent sign in the window stating "Lease for Assignment."

VO: And those who came up with this God awful marketing campaign, will soon be passing by!

First one was much better. It had a bit of Bremner Bird and Fortune about it.

First one was good, you've got a really strong idea and a nice pace to it.

I think if you could make it more contemporary and not just about McDonalds?

Shot of a very fat couple with a veritable spread of McDonald's delights in front of them.

VO : And those with the high blood pressure, raised cholesterol levels and type two diabetes were just passing by.

Shot of ambulance with lights and sirens on screams to a halt outside and paramedics crash in.

VO: And those with an addiction to high fat, high salt, low nutritional value, low cost, junk food shite....

Shot of morbidly obese man lying on the floor surrounded by the food he has dropped when he collapsed.
