So basically, Recorded For Training Purposes, a sketch show about methods of modern communication are now accepting sketches that are nothing really to do with methods of modern communication now.
Gazzooks! I wish I'd have known that.

Did you listen to the last series?

I sure did. They were mostly about answerphone messages, phones, social networking sites, emails, gaming, that kind of thing.

My feedback doesn't make sense as far as I can tell.

"Nice quickie. Worth giving it a while, I think. Got any more like
this?!"

The hell does that mean? Either way it sounds quite positive so :D

I would guess from that response that they might consider turning it into a runner for an episode if you have a couple more like it.

F/X: Car screeching to a halt / needle scratching off a record

Just got an 'apologies for taking so long to get back to you' email.

I've got a "Very nice" sketch on the consideration pile and a "very funny but lose the punchline" re-write request.

Woo!

"very funny but lose the punchline"

Curse those pesky punchlines, ruining a perfectly good joke!

In fairness, it did derail a perfectly good joke, I was just stumped for an 'out' and bunged on a punchline so I could send it in on time.

Just got my feedback yesterday. Useful, and I'll incoroprate the changes and send in the revised sketches next week. This isn't a very interesting post.

As usual, quoting from old stats. You're sixteenth since Walker mentioned 'his old friend Paul Sinha' again in the Jim Jeffries thread.

;)

Ah I see. I'd best have a think then.

Cheers :)

So, basically, I'm the only one who didn't get past the initial sift?
