Why Britain Can't Do The Wire Page 5

Yeah because it was a one off. Bring it back for a full series and it would be great.

Cracker's time has passed. The most recent one wasn't great.

Must admit I missed that one and the last Prime Suspect. The 90s weren't bad were they.

Agreed. That 3 part drama wasn't quite right. The ending was a bit of a let down.

I was kind of hoping for a Robbie killed her twist. Even though that probably would have been a bit obvious. Or even that the daughter did it!

The final scene had a bit of Scooby Doo about it. The young girl was great in it though.

Yeah! I really liked her.

Can we please stay on topic, guys? Thanks. :)

You're not, you're talking about Cracker! Not the multifarious reasons British drama doesn't do US-type shows. Honestly! *shakes head* ;)

Well I unreservedly apologise, in that case. :)

No, carry on, I've already posted my opinions, so everything that's worth saying on the subject has already been said. Whistling nnocently

Yep and there's already a thread about men not liking women having opinions. ;)

Bodies is the best Brit drama from recent years. That's up there with the best US dramas, I think.

Ooh yes, Bodies was very good.

My humble opinion is that we do drama better, as long as it's on premium TV (HBO, etc), while you all do comedy so much better than us.
