And in America, some of the gun manufacturers are producing pink versions of their pistols for the female market. It's a gun, it can kill people. What next, pink nuclear missiles? It boggles the mind.
I sometimes credit women with more intelligence then they deserve.
Apologies if it seems like I'm singling you out Ruby, it's not the case, as the products created are mass marketed at the female consumer. A consumer base that puts pretty colours above any other consideration apparently.
Again Ruby, not aimed at you, you're fab - I'm just having one my trademark sexist rants.

I understand what you're saying, Mr. R.C. But if I went to buy a new TV for example and all they had were some garish neon green coloured ones, I'd think twice about making a purchase.

The colour of the television housing would probably be way down on the list for purchasing reasons after price, screen size, picture quality, etc. etc. and even then you'd have to think twice.
Don't get me wrong, if my beloved assault rifle only came in lurid pink, I too would think twice about buying it - as this is Britain, there's no chance of that - but you get the idea.
And just to contradict myself again - if I read reports that the garish neon green telly and the pink rifle were the best you could buy for the money. Then I would buy them.

I think companies are severely missing a trick by only offering black or silver versions of most electrical devices.
I've wanted coloured ones for yeeeears and they're only just cottoning on to the fact that everyone doesn't want the same old boring looking shit. More colours I say!
