Benidorm - Series 3 Page 3

Doesn't get much comment this.

It never quite got as good as the first episode did it?

Although Geoff's Date in the previous episode was very funny.

I wish they would make more of the swingers, greater characters!

I liked the little boy's song.

How gay!

I actually watched this show for the first time after refusing to give it a chance because I am a snob and I have to say I really enjoyed it!

Does anyone know if there will be another series? - this was my Friday night, laugh out loud (at certain bit)mindless T.V. The last episode seemed a bit final with everyone appearing to have a happy ending.

Hi Stephen. Far too early to say yet. ITV will probably make their minds up next year when they know what budget they have (it's an expensive show to make!)

That said, I'd bet a lot of money it does get another series - it is one of ITV's only comedy hits and brings in good ratings, so they're not going to want to ditch that.

I found last Friday's episode rather enjoyable. When I give a show a go, I usually catch the one rubbish episode out of the whole series. Which I did with this I think, I found episode two completely unfunny. But episode six was top notch comedy!

Hi Guys..

Newbie here...love the site and all the helpful comments. Great sense of support and comraderie (sp?)....

I follow Derren Litten on Twitter. @derrenlitten to those who twitter. He has said he wasn't going to do another series. But just recently changed his tone ever so slightly to 'ITV have not commissioned a new series YET'.....Think it would be hard to find a reason why they have all come back to the same place again.

D :-)

Watched the last episode whilst having a weekend in Centre Parks. It was the only one I saw of the third series and really enjoyed it. I couldn't believe it when I saw Stuart McGugan on it, didn't know he was still going (after appearing as Gunner McIntyre in It Aint Half Hot Mum).

The last episode seemed to indicate that it was done. It would be really difficult to justify why they would all return again, it was probably one of the weaker episodes too. It has been a good show though. I thought the hour long episodes weren't as strong as the 30 mins one though.

Fourth series and a special confirmed: https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/00000267/benidorm_series_4_confirmed/

Johnny Vegas won't be in the next series following comments he made about the show.

Quite an interesting story

He was slagging the place more than the show, surely? Seems a bit harsh to sack him over that.

:(

Johnny's character was probably the best. Boo to the Benidorm team. BOOOO. Angry

(I assume it's not an April Fools' Day joke, as it's so obscure and on different websites.)

That's what I thought.
